Pearl Millet is a natural coolant for our body. It has high amounts of fiber and aids digestion. It also lowers your bad cholesterol while increasing the good cholesterol in your system and is therefore very good for your cardiovascular health. It is rich in antioxidants and can prevent the occurrence of cancer, particularly breast cancer. It can help prevent asthma. It is very good for your muscular system and is known for its high vitamin B content, which allows it to break down the carbohydrates and fat in your body.It helps to reduce constipation. Usually we do Kambu Kali, Kambu soru type of recipes with pearl millet. But it is very simple and tasty dish which is not time consuming.

Ingredients
  • Pearl Millet Flour / Kambu Maavu - 1 Cup
  • Wheat Flour - 1/2 Cup
  • Rice Flour - 1/4 Cup
  • Salt - As needed
  • Big Onion - 1 ( Chopped)
  • Curry leaves - 1 Sprig
  • Green Chili - 1 ( Chopped)
  • Oil - As needed
Method:
Step 1:
  • Take Kambu Maavu, Wheat flour, Rice flour, chopped onion, curry leaves, green chili, salt in a mixing bowl and add enough water to make thin batter. 
  • Close the bowl with a plate, Leave for 10-15 mins.
  • Heat dosa pan, drizzle with oil and pour dosa batter ,drizzle some more oil and cook both sides in medium flame. It takes some extra time to cook.
  • The dosa should be thin so don’t pour over and over then we will get thick dosas.
  • Serve Hot with Chutney or Sambar.
Notes
  • It is very important that the dosa tawa should be really hot. When you pour you should see the batter spreading by itself with tiny holes in it that the right consistency of the batter and it shows the dosa tawa is perfect for making dosas.
  • Mix the batter well before pouring each dosa.
  • Instead of using wheat flour and rice flour, you can also use 1 ladle of dosa batter or idly batter.
  • The batter should be very runny like rava dosa batter consistency
