Ingredients
- Chicken - 1 kg
- Big Onion - 3 (Chopped)
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 & 1/2 tsp
- Green chili - 2
- Red chili powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Fennel powder - 1 tsp
- Garam Masala - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Chopped Coriander leaves - 1 cup
- Kashmiri Red chili powder - 1 tsp
- Oil - As needed
- Salt - As needed
Method:
Step 1:
- Cut the chicken into medium sizes, Clean and wash it, Take it in a mixing bowl.
- Add turmeric powder, Red chili powder, ginger garlic paste ( 1 tsp), Coriander powder, Garam Masala, fennel powder, Kashmiri Red chili powder, Salt, Mix well and Marinate for 1 hour.
- Heat oil in a kadai, Drop the marinated chicken in hot oil and fry till golden. It will take around 7 to 10 mins depending on the size of the chicken. Keep aside.
- In the remaining oil , Add chopped onion, Fry until it turns golden, Add ginger garlic paste ( 1/2 tsp), Fry until the raw smell goes up, Add green chili, chopped coriander leaves, Mix well.
- Add the fried chicken in it. Mix well. Keep on stirring till it reaches the required dry consistency and oil separates on the top.
- Serve hot with rice, Chapati, Naan...
Notes
- You can also do this with leg pieces of chicken.
- You can also do it with boneless chickens.
- If you feel it very spicy, You can reduce the ingredients according to your taste.
