 Bread Egg Masala is a different dish for breakfast. It is very simple to do. We can do this with excess bread in home. Usually we do bread omelette with bread and egg. It will tastes yummy than a ordinary dish. Try this...



Ingredients
  • Bread Slices - 5
  • Butter - 2 tsp
  • Oil - For deep frying
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Chopped Onion - 1 Cup
  • Ginger Garlic Paste  - 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves - 1 Spring
  • Tomato - 1 (Chopped)
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder - 1 & 1/2 tsp
  • Thick Coconut milk - 3 tsp
  • Egg - 2
Method:
Step 1:
  • Cut the bread into medium size pieces, Keep aside. 
  • Heat oil in a kadai , Add chopped bread and fry till golden in a low flame. drain it.
Step 2:
  • Heat Butter in a pan, Add Cumin seeds, curry leaves, allow it to sizzle, add chopped onion, Fry until it turns golden.
  • Add Ginger garlic paste, fry until the raw smell goes up.
  • Add tomato, Mash well, Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, mix well.
  • Add Thick coconut milk, roasted bread, Mix well.
  • Meanwhile Break eggs in a bowl and beat them nicely, Add it along with the bread. Keep in low flame. Mix well.
  • Garnish with coriander and mint leaves.
  • Serve hot.
Notes

  • Use 1/2 Coconut for thick coconut milk. Don't add more water for making it.
  • You can use wheat bread or milk bread for this recipe.
  • Adding Butter gives excellent flavor.
  • No need to trim the edges of the bread.
