Simple & Tasty Mango Lassi for Summer

Mango Lassi is a very simple recipe. A favorite drink at Indian restaurants, It is easy to make at home. Lassis come in all kinds of flavors, some are salty, some are sweet, some have mint, some have fruit. A mango lassi is basically a yogurt based mango milkshake or smoothi. This is one of the way to enjoy Mango season. Surely Kids will love this lassi. Some people hate curd or Yogurt. They not even smells or sees the curd. But for that type of people it is the best dish. They will really love this.
Ingredients
- Peeled and Chopped Mango - 2 Cups
- Yogurt - 1 cup
- Sugar/ Honey - 3-4 tsp (adjust to taste)
- Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
- Milk - 1/2 Cup
- Ice cubes - As needed (optional)
- Cashews - 4
Method
- Peel and Cut the mangoes into medium size pieces
- Take a mixer, Add Mangoes, Sugar/Honey into it, Grind it.
- Now Add Yogurt, Cardamom powder, Milk, Ice cubes (optional) in it. Grind it for 2 mins.
- Garnish with cashews, Serve chill. Enjoy.
Notes
- You can reduce sugar or honey if the mango is very sweet.
- The lassi can be kept refrigerated up to 24 hours.
- If you want a more milkshake consistency and you can blend it with some ice or serve over ice cubes.
- If you want a thin consistency in Lassi, You can add some more milk while grinding.
