Indian Fish Cutlet is a tasty crunch. Usually fish gets cooked fast, fish cutlets are the easiest to make. We all do fish fry, fish curry or finger fish with fish. But this is a different dish which is more delicious. It is Crisp on the outside, spicy and juicy inside,.Indian style fish cutlets are best made spicy, slightly tangy and enjoyed right away when hot. 

Ingredients
  • Fish fillets - 3-4
  • Chopped Onion - 1/4 Cup
  • Egg - 1
  • Bread Crumbs - 1/2 cup
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder - 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Chopped Coriander leaves - 1 handful
  • Chopped Green chilies -3 -  4
  • Oil - for deep frying
  • Salt - As needed. 
Method:
Step 1:
  • Wash and Clean the fish Fillets.
  • Take water in a pan and bring it to a boil. Add the fish fillets to the water and let it cook nicely.
  • Remove the fish from the water and shred it into small pieces.
  • Heat Oil in a pan, Add Chopped onions, Fry until it turns golden, add ginger garlic paste, Fry until raw smell goes up.
  • Add the shredded fish to it along with salt, Red chilly powder , turmeric powder, green chilies, Coriander leaves.
  • Keep stirring the mixture until it becomes very dry. Allow it to cool.
Step 2:
  • Take a bowl, Add Egg, Pepper Powder, Beat well.
  • Make small round balls out of the cutlet mixture and shape it into patties. You can make any shape - round, oval, cylindrical etc.
  • Dip the patties in the beaten egg then coat it with bread crumbs. 
  • Heat oil in a Kadai , deep fry the cutlets.
  • Serve hot with Ketchup or Sauce.
Notes
  • You can use any fish like tuna, mahi-mahi, Salmon, king fish, etc
  • You can shallow fry the cutlets in a pan .
  • The oil must neither be too hot or not hot enough. If it is too hot, the cutlets will burn and if it is not hot enough, it has a tendency to absorb oil and turn soggy. 
  • The shaped cutlets can be stored in the freezer for a week. Bring to room temperature before frying.
  • If you have bones in the fish just cut it and Boil it in water, afterwards remove the bones.
