Health Benefits

Peanut is an amazing nut which is very economical. It helps in preventing of Diabetes, It has high concentration of a form of phytosterol called beta-sitosterol (SIT) which  Prevents Cancer. It is rich in Fibre and Protein.

Peanuts is having high content of Folic Acid which regulates hormonal imbalances in women. It also helps to cure irregular periods, Infertility and cyst in uterus like PCOD, Chocolate Cyst. 

Ingredients
  • Peanut / groundnut - 3/4 Cup
  • Red chilies  -2-3
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Tamarind - Small piece 
  • Salt - As needed
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
  • Curry Leaves - 1 Spring
Method
Step 1:
  • Heat a Pan, Roast the peanuts , Allow it to cool, remove the skin completely,  If you are using roasted peanut, then you can skip this step.
  • Take a mixer, Add roasted peanuts, Red chilies, Garlic, tamarind, Salt. Grind it as a smooth paste.
  • Heat oil, add mustard seeds, when mustard splutters, add curry leaves and pour it over the chutney.
Notes
  • firstly, roast the peanuts on low to medium flame, else they might burn.
  • removing skin of peanuts is optional, you can also blend along with the skin.
  • You can use Green chili instead of Red chili for different flavour.
