Fish Fry

Fish Fry

Ingredients
  • Fish Pieces - 5 -6 
  • Red Chili Powder - 1 & 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
  • Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - As needed
  • Oil - For Deep Fry
  • Garlic Paste - 1 tsp


Method
Step 1: 
  •  Take fish pieces, wash them well under running water.
  •  In a mixing bowl, Mix all the ingredients for marination and add very little water and make it into a thick paste.
  • Then add the fish to it and mix well. Make sure each piece is coated well with the masalas. Marinate for 20- 30 minutes.
 Step 2:
  • Heat oil in a Kadai, Place the fish pieces carefully and cook them for 5 minutes.
  • Fry the fish until it turns golden red in color and turn and cook the other side too. It approximately takes 8-10 minutes.
  • Take the fish pieces out, Serve Hot.
Notes 
  • Make sure to fry both the sides well until fish turns soft, golden red and crisp.
  • To get a perfect fried fish it approximately requires 10 minutes for both the sides to be fried well.
  • You can use coconut oil or normal oil.
  • Selecting and Purchasing fresh Fish is very important. 
  • You can also use non stick pan to toast the fish instead of deep frying.
