Fish Fry
Ingredients
- Fish Pieces - 5 -6
- Red Chili Powder - 1 & 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt - As needed
- Oil - For Deep Fry
- Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Method
Step 1:
- Take fish pieces, wash them well under running water.
- In a mixing bowl, Mix all the ingredients for marination and add very little water and make it into a thick paste.
- Then add the fish to it and mix well. Make sure each piece is coated well with the masalas. Marinate for 20- 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a Kadai, Place the fish pieces carefully and cook them for 5 minutes.
- Fry the fish until it turns golden red in color and turn and cook the other side too. It approximately takes 8-10 minutes.
- Take the fish pieces out, Serve Hot.
Notes
- Make sure to fry both the sides well until fish turns soft, golden red and crisp.
- To get a perfect fried fish it approximately requires 10 minutes for both the sides to be fried well.
- You can use coconut oil or normal oil.
- Selecting and Purchasing fresh Fish is very important.
- You can also use non stick pan to toast the fish instead of deep frying.
