- Raw Rice Flour/ Pacharisi Maavu- 2 Cup
- Pepper/ Milagu - 2 tsp
- Cardamon/ Elakai - 3 Pieces
- Dry Ginger/ Sukku - 25 gms
- Coconut - 1/2
- Jaggery/ Vellam - 400 gms
- Salt - 1 Pinch
Methods:
Step 1:
- Make a powder of Pepper, Cardamon, Dry ginger in a mixer and keep aside.
- Add Coconut in the mixer, Make as paste and keep aside
- Take a bowl , Add Raw rice flour and water, Bring the mixture to a watery consistency.
Step 2:
- Heat Pan / Kadai, Add powdered pepper, cardamon,dry ginger, coconut paste, jaggery and add some water into it.
- Keep cooking the mixture. Slowly add mixture of raw rice flour into it
- Mix well and cook in a slow flame without getting lumps.
- For more taste add a pinch of salt in to.
- Cook till the mixture leaves the sides and comes to halwa consistency.
Notes
- You can use karupatti (palm jaggery) is used instead of jaggery.It gives Excellent smell and taste.
- Ensure that the entire process is done in low flame else the mixture will form lumps
- To check whether it is cooked or not, just wet your hands and touch the cooked mixture, if it does not stick to your hands, it is cooked. If it sticks then cook for few more minutes.
- For continuous cold cough try it for minimum 2 times, you can feel better.
