- Boiled Egg - 4
- Chopped Onion - 1/4 cup
- Tomato - 1 (chopped)
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp
- Mustard Seeds - 1tsp
- Chopped Coconut - 1/4 cup (for grind)
- Curry leaves - As needed
- Salt - As needed
- Cashew - 4
- Green chilly - 2
- Red Chilly Powder - 1 tsp
- Garam Masala - 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
- Oil - As needed.
Step 1:
- Peel the boiled egg and make few gashes in each egg, Keep aside
- Take a mixer, Add Coconut, Cashew, Fennel Seeds, Green Chilly, Grind it as a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in a pan, Add Mustard seeds, Curry leaves, allow it to sizzle.
- Add chopped onion in it, fry until it turns golden.
- Add Ginger garlic paste, fry until the raw smell goes up. Add tomato in it, mash well.
- Add Red Chilly powder, Coriander powder, Garam Masala in it, mix well.
- Add Salt, little water in it and cover with a lid for 3 to 4 mins.
- Open the lid, add grind-ed paste in it and mix well, Again cover the pan with a lid, cook for 5 mins.
- Lastly add the egg in it and fry for stirring gently in a low flame until the oil separates. Serve hot.
Notes
- To boil eggs perfectly, add eggs to a pot and fill it with water till it covers the eggs. Bring it to a boil for 10 - 15 minutes. Transfer to a vessel and place in cold water for perfectly boiled eggs.
- You can serve it for Rice, Naan, Chapati...
