Delicious Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients:
  • Button Mushroom - 200 gms (Click Here)
  • Chopped Onion - 1/2 Cup
  • Tomato - 1 (Chopped)
  • Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
  • Chopped Coconut - 1/4 Cup
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves - As needed
  • Salt - As needed
  • Chilly powder - 1  tsp
  • Coriander powder - 2 tsp
  • Garam Masala - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 3 tsp
Method:
Step 1:
  • Clean and cut the Mushroom into medium pieces, Keep aside.
  • Take a Mixer, Add coconut, Fennel seeds, little water, grind it as a paste.
Step 2:
  • Heat oil in a Kadai, Add Mustard Seeds, Curry leaves, Allow it to sizzle.
  • Add chopped onion into it, Fry until it turns golden.
  • Add Ginger Garlic paste, Fry until the raw smell goes up, Add Chopped Tomato, Mash well.
  • Add Mushroom pieces, Mix well, Add Chilly powder, Coriander powder, Garam Masala, Salt, Mix well.
  • Add Little water and cover the lid for 5 mins.
  • Now open the lid,  you can see the half cooked Mushroom, Now add the coconut paste and some more water.
  • Cover the lid and allow it to cook until the oil gets separated.  
Notes
  • You can serve this for Chapati, Rice, Pulao or Naan.
  • The consistency of the gravy can be adjusted according to individual preferences.
  • For more Flavor and Taste, Use small onion instead of Big onion.
